This year LKS will participate in the Canspell 2011 National Spelling Bee. Students in Grades 4 - 8 who wish to participate, will have their opportunity to take part in a classroom spelling bee. The top spellers from each class will participate in the School Spelling Bee on January 13th in the morning. One top speller from the school has a chance to move on to the Provincial and Regional Championships.
