The Middle Childhood Project is a project of the City of Toronto, Children Services Division that focuses on the after school needs of children ages 6 – 12. The project is part of the City’s Vision for Children that outlines a commitment to provide children with experiences that promote their chances of developing into healthy, well-adjusted and productive adults. Within this Vision, the City of Toronto has a commitment to develop a Middle Childhood Strategy.
