Ms. Zappi and her Grade 4's are participating in the United Nations International Day of the Girl Child on October 11th. The aim of this day is to increase awareness, recognize
girls’ rights and the unique challenges girls face around the world. Ms. Zappi's class has become involved through a number of educational and inspirational lessons and a campaign to help others around the world. Next week, the students will be selling bracelets and having a book sale. All proceeds will be going to the "I am a
girl" foundation. Thank you to Ms. Zappi and congratulations to all the students involved. Thank you for making a difference in the lives of others.
